Idiot Democrats for McCain
This is why the Democratic party irks me.

You could have asked anyone. We had this election three months ago. After eight years of Bush, voters were ready for change. And now this race has gotten so bitter nearly a third of you would rather vote for John McCain than the other Democratic candidate. Shame on you.
This campaign has been about character since the beginning. Everyone knows Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have nearly identical positions on the issues. A third of you so-called Democrats prefer four more years of Bush to someone who shares your ideas and opinions. I’m admittedly no fan of Hillary Clinton, but I will do everything in my power to help her win should she get the nomination.
We still can do this. Polls show both Hillary and Barack leading McCain. The Republicans can’t beat us but we can certainly hand them the election. America is ready to move forward so let’s wrap up this primary peacefully and get it together.

Well said!! Though everyone in the running is far to the right of center, both Obama and Clinton are still far more moderate than the extreme right wing neocon nut job McCain. He’s no moderate. He’s no conservative. He a right wing extremist. We must unite to defeat him or we’ll get four more years of Bush. This country won’t survive that. 100 years in Iraq??!!? Not only will every Iraqi be dead, the U.S. will have long since gone bankrupt. We not far from that now.
Please check my post about the real McCain.
McCain a Moderate?
I can’t believe how far to the right this country has shifted so that even Clinton and Obama appear liberal. Check my post on Tricky Dick Nixon to see how an icon of conservativism has now become a liberal, though only by comparison with today’s all right wing case of politicians.
Sock It To Me Nixon You Lefty Liberal
Sorry that should read “with today’s all right wing cast of politicians.”
You’re darn right that many of us Hillary supporters will vote for McCain if Obama is the nominee. Racism is a deal-breaker for me, so Obama would never get my vote. McCain is not my first choice, but I’d rather have a moderate Republican President, than a racist and deceptive Obama.
I find it ironic that you question Barack Obama’s integrity while you brag about your own willingness to abandon our shared vision for this country. Even if Obama is a deceptive racist – a right wing talking point that to quote Senator Clinton, “requires the willing suspension of disbelief” – things both of us want like a responsible end to the occupation of Iraq, energy independence and universal health care will become an even more distant reality with another four years of Bush.
I’m abandoning the party. Yes, indeed. This process has been fraught with difficulty from the beginning. There were a lot of backdoor things going on here in DC that people don’t know about, but which you should be able to see. Basically, I will not tolerate another session where the media get to dictate our candidate. They kicked out Dean and gave us the worst since Dukakis, and now they have given us a neophyte. Please save your little pious policy arguments. Sorry – but a vote is about more than policy. It is about strategy, message, principles, policy, and a host of other considerations. Weighing it all together: Nobama for me. 25 years straight of Democrats. Pretty impressive. No more.
