The Junoverse

I saw Juno last night with my peeps. It was a funny, well-acted, overall good movie. Some parts felt a little forced, but they barely interrupted the flow of greatness. In a lot of ways, Juno reminded me of Little Miss Sunshine, last years under-the-radar masterpiece.

As a fan of obscure, indie-rock and folk music, I must say that I really liked the tunage. Enough that I’ve already downloaded the soundtrack. The song “Anyone Else But You” by The Moldy Peaches was featured throughout the movie, and it was almost as if the entire story, characters and everything were written solely for that song.

Juno was one of the best movies of 2007 for every reason. The writing, music and cast make this a film that needs to be seen by anyone with any taste in anything.
