I just ported the True Blue K2 Style by Steve Lam. Just a quick copy and paste, then upload. There were a couple bugs primarily because WordPress.com doesn’t have the latest version of K2. Hopefully I’ve managed to find them all.

The original theme also appears to have been inspired by Bright Eyes’ lovely “True Blue”. Kudos.

Once in a blue moon there is a blue sky. I wear blue jeans and fly my blue kite. It hangs like a bluebird until the wind dies and then the tears pour out of my blue eyes. If it is your birthday we’ll bake a blue cake and then we’ll eat it off my blue plates. Because kid I don’t know much about you but I like you because you’re true blue.

Well, without further ado, here’s the stylesheet.

  1. Wow, nice looking theme, and the conversion looks well!

  2. Very nice job! Kudos to you.

I had wondered when I’d start seeing more K2 skins available for WP.com. My buddy Ted will be very happy to see this available.

  3. It is cool, I like the black tabs.

  4. Does this CSS still work? I can’t get it to appear correctly using Sandbox on WordPress.com. Thanks.

  5. It should still work. The style is for K2-Lite, not Sandbox so try adding the CSS to K2 (using the add to existing CSS method) instead. Hope that helps!

  6. I missed the part about K2. Thanks for the quick reply and for this awesome CSS!

  7. Stephen,

Any idea how to fix the navigation bar that shows up at the top of a post in FF? It looks fine in IE, but gets the top cut off in FF. Look at one of my blog posts and you’ll see what I’m referring to.

  8. To be really honest, I didn’t notice that before. I’ll try to work on it though.
